[USA] How does one choose a career in psychology?

Advice/Career

There is a real shortage of information on the internet concerning the pursuit of a career in psychology. Youtube is often touted as a treasure trove for curious learners, but I have yet to find anything truly substantive on this particular matter.

I've narrowed down potential careers to forensic psychology, clinical psychology, and neuropsychology. Each is compelling for different reasons.

Meaning, security, and intellectual fulfillment are the qualities I value most.

For those of you who are students or professionals, have you managed to find a career that you find suitable? If so, how did you make that decision?
