AM4 or AM5?

My current pc specs are:
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

- ROG Strix RTX 3070 8gb

- 32GB DDR4 Ram

- MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk

I was able to pick up a AMD Ryzen 5 9600x for 140.
Should I resell it or keep it for upgrading my pc later? My issue is just the ram...
If I do resell it, what would be a good cpu to upgrade to? Im reaching my cpu's limits in some games.
