Need advice. Do I clarify if he’s using protection with other women?

Been seeing this guy for about six weeks and last week we had the “what are we” talk and found out he isn’t looking for a relationship and he is sleeping with somebody else. He didn’t clarify if he’s using protection or not but said that ‘she’s clean’?

I’m not sure if I should ask to clarify if he’s using protection or not. We always do when we’ve had sex but I’ve never really hooked up with someone consistently when they’ve been seeing someone else. I really don’t want to catch any thing, I usually get tested after everyone I sleep with 😭 help
