Do I need to buy the latest edition of book for taxation?

Hello everyone, I'm a 3rd year BSA student. I just want to ask if need ba talaga latest edition gamitin for income taxation. Our prof told us to get the book of Ampongan. It's too expensive for me so I tried searching sa marketplace, wala akong mahanap na 19th edition (published in 2025), but then I found this book of Ampongan for 350 pesos only. Pero 18th edition po yun, it was published around 2023. Should I get it or mas better talaga if latest version bilhin ko?
