Initial impressions

So far I’ve played about 9 hours of Future Redeemed and I’m on level 25 or so on hard mode.

This game has been SUPER FUN so far. I am a completionist so the affinity system just tickles my fun bone. Love it.

The throwbacks to the other games is also delightful. Realizing the music was the same from Xenoblade 1 and then seeing that it was because I was back at colony 9 was so cool.

Moebius W whooped my butt the first time and I barely squeezed out a victory on the second attempt.

Lots to do but it doesn’t feel bloated.

My only complaint so far is accessories continue to be a mess. Way too many and while I have learned to work with the sorting button it’s crazy to me that books and relics aren’t in separate tabs. Sometimes I’ll get an item and forget the name of it and have to scroll through dozens of accessories to find it. I sure hope they get this right in Genesis.

Glimmer gives me straight up Mythra vibes.

Great game though so far.
