Anyone experience doing a masters in social work in the uk?? What’s the schedule like? And placement etc?

I’ll be starting 28th of September. Is it possible to work a bit before you start your placement?? Also mentally and physically how did you find it?? I just hope I don’t burnout ! But am looking foreword to starting as it’s something that really interests me.
