Nonlock cleats

Hey everyone, I recently started cycling in early June and feel like I was pushed into clipins too early, to the point where I have been experiencing anxiety regarding riding a bike. As a peace offering to myself, I just ordered myself a pair of Santic’s lock free cleats.

Does anyone else ride in these type of shoes? I currently already have my bike set up with dual sided spd pedals. Do you notice a “lack of power” like everyone suggests? I usually want to reply im a beginning only going 14mph, there’s not much power to begin with. 🤣🤣 Do your feet stay steady on the platform, no slippage?
