Could this be breast cancer

I recently found a pea sized lump on the lower middle part of my breast. Its fairly hard and immovable. No pain. It had a bruise directly over it when I first saw it but that bruise has now faded. I showed my doctor and she said there are normally lymph nodes in that area and that could be the lump. She submitted the 2 week urgent referral so im just waiting for the appointment. This morning I have developed a rash of some sort like a red line you might get from underwired bra, directly under the affected breast only. I have not been wearing a bra for two days so its not friction. What could this be and has anyone experienced this.
