At the end of the day, it’s a series of people who didn’t want to leave high school

First of all, I LOVE OTH and i literally grew up watching this while the rest watched friends. I’m on my rewatch as an adult and at S6.

I just realised - they all moved out, built their lives and came back to Tree hill bc it was “home”. And they never seem to want to leave again. Hailey is literally back in high school as a teacher. Same with Lucas and Skills as coaches. Like do you never wanna leave high school??? It seems like there’s so fear built around leaving the town bc their families, childhood and friends are there.

Even when Julian wants Brooke to move out she says “my friends are here” okay but what does that have to do with it? Shouldn’t people go out there and expand your g horizons anyway?

It sends the wrong message that you should never leave where you are from and stay limited to wherever you came from. What happened to adventure and exploration?
