Flight 4506 - STL to IAD- Saturday Aug 1

So I was on the 8:43 AM flight from STL to IAD on Saturday, August 1, 2026. This particular flight as well as another flight from STL were delayed due to unspecified "mechanical issues".

While I appreciated the $15 meal voucher, with the prices at the STL airport, I could barely get a drink, let alone food. I imagine there were others who felt the same. I ended up with a $9 individual bag of Chex Mix and a $6 Monster. Food of champions, lemme tell you.

I finally was able to get on another flight with a connection through ORD, making it to my door at 3:00 a.m.

The gate personnel at STL (with one exception) were so polite and understanding. Shout out to Israel A who got me out of there (and dealing with my frustration tears as all I wanted to do is be home).
