Strange farming druids - are they reporting me?

You keep reading about players getting mass-reported by farming bots, and maybe that made me a bit paranoid, but something weird happened to me last night.

I finally got my Mining skill up to 325 and spent a few hours farming Adamantite in Nagrand to level it further (EU PvE Anniversary server).

At one of the first nodes I found, a druid flew in in Flight Form and landed right next to me. They didn't even try to mine the node. Instead, they immediately took off again and just hovered above me until the node despawned. At that point I actually thought they were just being polite, so I even gave them a /thank.

But then the exact same thing kept happening. A lot. With different druids.

Sometimes a druid was already at the node when I arrived, so I'd just move on. But whenever I got there first, it was always the same: they'd land next to me for a second, take off again, and then hover above me until the node disappeared.

I have to admit, after a while it started making me really nervous. Especially because none of the druids reacted to any of my interactions with them and their movements seemed suspiciously similar.

Has anyone else noticed this?
