How to improve social skills

What are some ways you guys have found to improve your social skills?

Im 19 and I got diagnosed a little over a year ago and I have realized that if I don’t fix my social skills I’m going to end up a bum, it’s affecting my relationships and my job opportunities bad, people around me says that I’m pretty smart and I do pretty good in school but my social skills are really holding me back.
