Looking for a horror movie (US, roughly last decade, ~2010s-ish)
A young white woman (possibly blonde or light brown hair) doesn’t feel safe in her big, beautiful modern suburban house. In one scene, a storage/closet room door opens on its own. If she has a partner, he doesn’t believe her at first — or she’s alone in the house. They have a home security/alarm system installed, but it doesn’t help because the killer (a complete stranger, not someone she knows) has already been secretly hiding inside the house for days before the main events unfold. It’s a serious, tense, oppressive tone — not campy or comedic. No supernatural elements — it’s a human intruder/killer the whole time. I want to say I’ve seen it myself, so it might be at least moderately well-known, not super obscure.
Movies it’s similar in vibe/quality to: The Watcher (2022), Hush (2016), You Should Have Left (2020). It is NOT any of these, and NOT The Intruder (2019, Dennis Quaid), Barbarian, Intruder (2016), Cellar Door, or The Resident.
