I HATE how Limb lengthening is demonised
You search up online and it's just people mocking it, and they always say that one insufferable line "height doesn't matter" well if it didn't matter why is there hundreds of phrases to belittle short people, especially short men.
How come when a guy gets limb lengthening he gets mocked for wanting to fix his insecurity? but legit this same reaction isn't towards any other surgery.
Then they try to justify their hate with "oh but its dangerous" WHICH IS SUCH A DUMB TAKE, yes it is dangerous to a degree, but with advancements it has become WAYYYY more safer and its all about the surgeon.
And then they try to further justify this mockery with "oh well you'll look unproportional" when 80% of the time you wont just as long as you get only your femur lengthened / be realistic with your bodies proportions, most of the time you'll go a couple of cm above your wingspan, which is not noticeable.
And going back to the "oh but it's dangerous" phrase, if it is so "dangerous" why do they feel the need to mock guys who get limb lengthening? People are getting limb lengthening because they likely feel insecure, so these people think mocking them more will fix that? Legit people are just so ignorant.
I swear people just find any justification to mock someone who is short / want to be comfortable in their skin.
Good luck dudes, hopefully some day we can achieve our dreams. Do your research, stay strong, and dream big.
