Ideas Of Cause Of X1C X or Y Belt Tensioning Failure Immediately After Belt Tensioning Procedure?

Has anyone here had the problem of either of their X or Y belts not maintaining their tension on an X1 or another model with equivalent tensioning mechanism?

Support seems to be spitballing solutions without providing any potential causes for this failure. They graciously provided tensioning replacements and new XY motors.

The motor replacement process is very extensive and I'm trying to rule out any causes first that don't involve motor replacement.

A relevant note is that the X belt is the one losing tension but I am also seeing ringing issues on Y (not as bad as X).
