START HERE: Investigating Mormon Weaponization, Coercive Control, and Identity Erasure
I was abducted at four years old.
I was not born in the covenant. Mormonism entered my story after my father had already been replaced and my identity rewritten. The manufactured family structure was later reinforced through adoption, Mormon authority, and a temple sealing.
My biological father was replaced in this life and in the eternity I was taught to expect. I was forced to accept my mother’s new husband as “Daddy.” He later became my adoptive father, and I was sealed in a Mormon temple to him and my mother when I was eight. A manufactured family structure had been given legal authority, religious authority, and eternal permanence.
For decades, I lived inside a version of my own history that other people had constructed.
Then I began investigating.
I approached my past as both a survivor and a criminologist. I examined records, timelines, family narratives, religious conditioning, behavioral patterns, missing information, and the systems that protected the approved story.
What emerged was larger than one family.
Coercive control rarely survives through force alone. It recruits attachment, authority, community pressure, institutional credibility, fear, shame, and sometimes God. Once those systems begin reinforcing one another, a private campaign of control can become a socially protected reality.
This profile is where I examine those systems.
I write about:
• Cult dynamics and high-demand groups
• Coercive control and undue influence
• Religious weaponization
• Institutional containment
• Child psychological abuse
• Identity erasure and replacement-parent dynamics
• Behavioral threat signals
• The long work of reconstructing personal sovereignty
I am the author of Unsealing the Crime Scene, an investigative framework for examining child psychological abuse and coercive control, and the forthcoming Sealed to My Abductor, the memoir documenting the abduction, identity rewriting, and the weaponization of Mormon beliefs and authority that compelled me to build it.
Some posts will examine the framework. Others will come directly from the case file of my own life. The purpose is the same:
Making invisible behavioral systems visible.
Welcome to Unsealed.
