French guys needs help

Hello, first time here.

I'm from France, and I just turned 27. I currently live in the French countryside at my parents' house (life is great during the French summer, especially in the countryside). I have a good job that allows me to live comfortably (I work remotely).

I want to become wealthier, but my progress is slowed down by: 1) taxes, and 2) the French mindset.

(For those who don't know, you're often seen as "the enemy" if you earn more than €4,000/month here :) )

On the other hand, I'm fucking lonely. My friends are scattered around the world, and even in France we usually just hang out at someone's house instead of going to bars (it's becoming very hard to meet girls through parties or nightlife).

I'm also very introverted and haven't had much success with dating apps.

So here's my problem: in my current situation, I have almost no social interactions. At the same time, I really want to reach the next level financially (I mean low seven figures liquid) and become even freer.

(Freedom is extremely important to meI travel a lot, want to keep that lifestyle, and eventually share all those adventures with someone)

But at the same time, I feel like I'm sacrificing my whole life in pursuit of higher numbers. (For context, my last relationship with a girl was a few years ago.)

The longer I wait, the harder it will probably be to find someone and build the family life I want (getting married, having kids, while keeping the freedom to live wherever I want).

To solve this, here are my thoughts:

  1. Move out of my parents' house and get an apartment near where my friends live (about an hour from my family) Join some clubs (like a running club) and keep using dating apps.

Professionally, try to slow down a bit without reducing my income or limiting future opportunities.

  1. Move to the US (Seattle or Austin) or Canada (Montreal or Toronto)

(I LOVE those cultures)

Try to start a new life and meet people who are in a similar situation

It would probably be harder socially at first because my English (for ONT/TXS/Seatlle) isn't perfect, but professionally, it would help me a lot

Has anyone been in a similar situation? What would you recommend?

(I should add that I don't want to move anywhere other than North America or stay in France. I'm very active and passionate about a lot of things, from hunting and fishing to books, movies, sports, psychology, and much more)

Thank you!
