any help is appreciated
ok lowkey i should not be stressed out about this as much as i am rn considering my ucat is literally at the end of testing period, but ive been at this for like 3/4 weeks and i feel like im geniunely getting nowhere. ive done mounds of practice and i dont know im doing wrong. im using medentry atm but i also have a medify subscription thats untouched so far. my scores are really bad and i dont know how to bring them up and i have to considering the majority of my practice is still untimed
vr- im good at it untimed but not timed. my biggest issue is grasping a good enough understanding of the paragraph under the time for some questions.
dm- this is what im worst in, especially syllogisms. ive done so much of the medentry syllogisms trainers, watched youtube videos and have tried so many different methods but none seem to wrk for me. also in general i take ages trying to figure things out and still end up getting them wrong or having to guess which in turn makes me panic more
qr- im good at the math but im so so so bad at it timed. i end up guessing everything and getting it wrong which isnt a good way to go. im also really slow at using the numberpad calculator and iwl half the time im doing questions and it just malfunctions :(
sjt- if anything this is the section ive done the best in and my best score was 19/35 timed. ive read through all of the gmc and i do get a lot of the appropriateness questions wrong. importance is okay, it could use some help but its getting there
i flag and move on most of the time but im really inaccurate and always out of time. its really starting to scare me because as much as im in the uk the uni im going to weights ur top 9 gcses (80%) which for me will be 2A* 7As and the ucat (20%). im wanting to apply for dentistry which is highly competitive already and i looked at recent cutoff points and theyre sitting at 36-39/45. i already have 29 points because of my gcses and so to have a fair shot at getting into where i want to i have to be in the 90th percentile in the ucat (u get 1-9 points for each decile).
aghhhh please help i hate this stress
