Is my husband more chill than me or sending me signs that we should divorce

Seeking Advice

Hi,

My husband (30 M) and I (29 M) have been together for 10 years. The last few years have been hard for me. My mom died after taking care of her, my job drove me into depression, and we were stressed buy our first house last Christmas.

We also got a sleep divorce when we moved in which bothered me at first, but he said he really wanted his own space to relax and do gaming. We talked recently about building resentment and hurt and how we could move on. I been feeling like his roommate and that he wasn't really appreciating me for the effort I put into our relationship. He basically said he had stop trying because he felt like when I was deep in depression nothing could make me happy. I asked him to try again and I'll try to be more appreciated of him as well.

Fast forward 3 weeks. No arguments and things are okay. We were supposed to go on vacation to the dessert that I spent 2 months planning but last minute he said he didn't want to go because the trip cost too much. So I plan a solo trip to New England to do camping. I invited him to come with he said yes because it's cheaper than our original trip. I throw in some days touring different east coast cities for him (not really part of the original solo trip).

The whole trip I keep getting frustrated. My husband can space out sometimes and is really laid back and likes to just chill and wander through cities we visit. I like an literary and to talk about the things we do together.

  1. This keeps happing a few times a day. I'll talk to him for like 30 secs about something we are doing and he will just not hear me. I keep asking if he heard me and he'll be like no I zoned out. Repeat it. He also refuses to look at the itinerary I made for him or use the GPS to navigate on his own. He keeps asking me to do tell him. If he does hear something I tell him he doesn't acknowledge that he heard and expects me to just know he did.

  2. We went to NYC on the way home. I was tired after the drive in and asked him to decide what he wanted to do while I took a nap in the hotel. He said okay and then proceeded to watch YouTube. I couldn't even nap because of the volume and after a half hour I just got up and planned the evening. My phone battery started dying while we were out. I asked him to navigate and he kept saying okay then scrolling on his phone as we walked aimlessly. I got frustrated and pulled up the directions to dinner and sent him to save my battery for pictures. He led us in the wrong direction. After dinner I just navigated the rest and by the time we got back his phone was lower than mine...

  3. On the second morning something broke me. We woke up and I said he could shower first. He got up but then changed his mind and said he was going straight to breakfast in the lounge. I said cool wait for me me, but by time I got out of bed he was dressed and at the door and was like see you down there. I askes him to wait so we could watch together and he was out the door by I put my shirt on. In the whole two week vacation we haven't had any romantic meals or moments. We went to a fancy Italian place in Boston and he was on his phone the whole time while everyone else was on a date or talking. I was just waiting to leave so I could stop feeling humiliated.

I really love my husband and I know he loves me. But I been feeling lile the stress of the last 3 years and my depression hurt him and we'll never get back to how things used to be. Any advice would be appreciated. I want to make it work.
