K-pop albums are so much better than western albums
I have been a fan a western music for years and I have bought albums by a few artists (mainly pop music by girls) and there is a singular western album I own that came with more than just a poster. it was sold before the album was released and I’m surprised I even got it before it sold out because it was a very popular artist.
I started liking k-pop around a year ago and bought my first album around a month later (I think, I don’t really remember). I knew that it came with more stuff than the other albums I owned but it was still surprising to see everything I got. it came with a cd, stickers, two photocards, a postcard, a photo book, a lyric booklet, and poster. the packaging was also really detailed and interesting to look at.
In the album with extra stuff I got from the western artist i got a few pictures, the cd, a lyric booklet, and a kind of ugly keychain. It also costed around the same price an average k-pop album.
once my brother was looking at Ariana grande albums and they costed around 20 usd and came with nothing special, meanwhile the time he bought a kpop album without any posters, photocards, etc. it costed 6 usd.
what do people here think about this? (sorry that this post doesn’t really fit the subreddit, I tried posting somewhere else but it got taken down)
