having your mom die from addiction issues when you’re young does not give you the excuse to act like that

at first, i felt sympathy when Shea told Annabelle about Allison’s mom dying when she was 18 from addiction issues bc i dealt with the same thing. but excusing her behavior bc of that felt like i was taking crazy pills. my mom died when i was 22 due to alcoholism & id definitely agree that my dad spoils me but i never treated his next girlfriend the way allison is. if allison was 10 years old, then yeah i can see why she might act like that but this woman has children of her own….
