I gave a local LLM flight controls over a drone via MCP (Ollama + Python sim)
Built a small demo where an LLM reads a plain-English mission, plans a search pattern, and calls real MCP tools (takeoff, move_to, scan, land) to fly it.
Inspired by the “Taking Flight with Dialogue” paper (PX4 + ROS2 + Isaac). I kept the idea but swapped the heavy stack for a deterministic Python simulator so it runs anywhere in ~10 seconds — no GPU, no ROS.
Default path is fully local with Ollama. MCP server is real (not a mock).

Curious what people would try next — harder missions, or wiring this to MAVSDK?
