I am seeking representation for my novel, BIRTHRIGHT AND BLOODSHED, a 113,000 word adult romantic fantasy that intermixes political intrigue, high-stakes, and slow burn romance. 
Thea was sentenced to death before her first breath and has spent her life hiding in plain sight. 
 As the firstborn child of the King of Reinatta, she was condemned for the crime of existing in a kingdom that forbids women to rule. Secretly rescued by the king’s most trusted general, Thea is raised in hiding, trained to survive, and taught to suppress the  magic tied to the firstborn in Reinatta’s bloodline.  
When the time comes for a new ruler to ascend, it becomes impossible to ignore that Thea’s younger brother lacks both the power and the strength required to hold the throne. Before Thea has a chance to flee to  safety she is kidnapped by a rival kingdom whose calculating king offers her an impossible bargain: claim the throne she’s never wanted or waste the rest of her life being hunted by a family that wants her dead.  
Her captor is Cassius, the feared Death’s Shadow,  an infamous warrior she’s been raised to believe is the realms greatest enemy. Yet, instead of delivering her the execution she expected, he becomes the only one capable of preparing her for the Tribunal of the Seven Kingdoms.  A trial to determine the legitimacy of her rule which will end in a vote that determines not if she gets the crown, but  whether she lives or dies.  
As their uneasy alliance deepens, Thea discovers Cassius is nothing like the monster she was taught to fear.  In a realm where their relationship is forbidden, Thea discovers she might have to sacrifice the thing she wants, for the kingdom she is duty bound to save.
