I know a good amount of people are like "oh Dandadan has always been like that, a lot of random and crazy stuff happening each arc" and you're right,the series was very monster of the week since the beginning.

But each arc(at least)had some kind of plan or goal that the cast was working for.

Whether it was Getting Okarun's balls back or Stopping Evil Eye or hell,helping Momo get back to regular size..there was some sort of goal or plan that the cast was working towards and trying to accomplish. 

But currently ever since Momo lost her memory,this entire arc has essentially been "Random Bullshit, go!' And I don't mean that as a compliment but in the sense that Tatsu has just been throwing a ton of stuff at the audience randomly and Momo's amnesia wouldn't even be a issue but there's very little stakes regarding it.

We don't know if there's a time limit or what or if she's gradually losing more memories or how deep her memory loss goes(I would argue its less memory loss and more memory Block?I dunno)and it also doesn't help that there's just such a lack of urgency regarding the cast cause Seiko just went "oh well,can't do anything bout it,leave her be" and like..sure,I guess but when you basically have your cast running around like a bunch of headless chickens while basically introducing a plot device on one of your MCs with no urgency or description of it,it runs its course.

Also this is probably way more of a personal thing but I feel like Dandadan has sorta gotten..kinda less funny(to me).

Like a lot of the jokes are just the characters pointing at things while exclaiming with big expressions and I dunno,those jokes just sorta ran their course on humor for me but thats just me.

This is probably a massive hot take but despite so much happening in current Dandadan ,I think a big reason it isn't personally grabbing me(a lot)is that there's really no plan or direction with the cast or even arc.
