Tracking loan progress in fc26

So I'm sure it used to be the case in previous Fifa games where you would loan a player out and they would have a +4 or something and it would factor into their overall and that's the way you would know you well they were doing.

It seems FC have changed things because a player came back and was 78+4 and I've been told it's only temporary? Then how do I know if he's progressing ?
