genuine question - why are you here if you've already made your mind up?

my question is not intended to upset or start an argument. but its something I am noticing and curious about....and it goes for BOTH sides of the aisle, not just one or the other.

a lot of you say she should be found NOT criminally negligent because you feel she was in psychosis and had sought help but never received it.

a lot of you say she murdered the children and thats that - its clear to you that she planned this out and IS criminally negligent.

my question - and again a genuine one - is why are you here on a sub to discuss the trial/case? you have already made up your minds and, frankly, both sides are doing nothing but arguing. I very rarely see any kind of discussion going on between the two sides of the aisle that are civil. I see names hurled (by one side more than another, if I am being honest) and I see people putting their fingers in their ears when it comes to hearing another side.

there has to be something to the reasons you're all still here to discuss? but what is that exactly?
