One of the biggest requests for the v2 API has been a way to access net worth history, and it’s finally here!

The new Balance History endpoint is now available in the Beta Developer Portal: [https://beta.lunchmoney.dev/v2/docs#tag/balance-history](https://beta.lunchmoney.dev/v2/docs#tag/balance-history)

This endpoint exposes the same data that powers [Lunch Money’s Net Worth Tracker](https://lunchmoney.app/features/net-worth), including monthly historical account balances, broken down into assets and liabilities. If you've wanted to build your own net worth dashboard or pull your net worth history for custom analysis, this is what you've been waiting for.

A few things to know:

* It's available now in beta, check out the beta docs at beta.lunchmoney.dev, separate from the stable documentation at lunchmoney.dev
* We don't expect any major changes before it’s promoted to the production API.
* Assuming no major issues are found during beta, it should be available in the production API soon!

This has been one of the most requested API features on our feedback board for a while, so we’re excited to finally put it in your hands!

Check it out live and in action through the [TRMNL Lunch Money plugin](https://trmnl.com/integrations/lunch-money)!
