changing careers is way harder if you restart

Lately I've been thinking about switching careers. Enjoy working remotely, but I don't see myself doing the same type of work. But it seems like I will go back to school with this change.

Currently I’m trying to figure out what skills I already have that could transfer somewhere else. Writing, researching, communicating with clients, managing online communities... I know those skills have value, I just don't know where they fit outside what I'm doing now.

can anyone help me?
