Cw candidates in mid entry

I registered in Phase I under the CW (Children/Widows of Personnel of the Armed Forces) quota and haven't been allotted a seat yet.

The official DU notice says Mid-Entry is not allowed for CW/ECA/Sports quota, but on my portal dashboard under the Mid-Entry tab, the red text says candidates who are already registered and are not admitted to any Program can edit their preferences.

Just to confirm before I click Start: Since I am already registered from Phase 1, can I re-order my prefrence ?does the CW restriction only apply to fresh mid-entry registrations, or will editing my preferences affect my CW quota allocation?
