I recently went to Sydney, and after doing all the typical sights, etc. I said to myself, there is quite a lot of Chinese influence in the city, so why not go around in Chinatown and search for some good Chinese tea? After managing to get around \~50 Milk Tea stores, I ended up in a place called Topo'tea. The bamboo-wrapped PuErh Cakes gave me hope to have finally found a place with proper tea (nothing against the milky stuff, but it's just not the same), and I was right. After tasting a personal favourite of mine - TaiPingHouKui - I started talking to the owner, and we had a very nice YiWu Raw PuErh Dragon Ball session. Since I found it rather hard to find that place, I thought I'd share it here in case someone else is looking for some good tea in Sydney. Some of the prices felt a bit high, but at the same time, usually I have to ship them to Europe, so overall it was fair, and as always, I ended up buying more tea than I wanted to. In case my new Chinese Tea-Friend is on r/tea : Greetings from your first Austrian customer ever 😄 I also added a picture of a tea I added to my shopping cart just out of curiosity. I am not so sure what exactly it was, it started like a not too heavily roasted/oxidised Oolong, but since I was exploring, I just kept going with the brewings, and after some time, I wasn't sure anymore if it wasn't more like an aged raw puerh?
