Did the cycle of successful pregnancy feel different?

Every month during my fertile period, I feel excited and full of energy. I start to have a sense of hope that I might get pregnant this month. However, I’ve only seen one line so far. Honestly, I don’t want to get any expectations either. But I don’t understand why I feel good once I’ve ovulated and why I expect to succeed this time. People say that you need to let go of expectations and empty your mind to become pregnant... Has there ever been someone who, like me, has been so hopeful every month and yet still managed to get pregnant? I'm curious.
