TDP pulling much more than what I set it to.

Hey all! Got Bazzite up and running on my MSI Claw A8 and everything is working great except for the TDP settings. I can see the fps and TDP change when I change the TDP (have tried both normal steam tdp, HDD and simpledecky), but for example in RE2 Remake if I set the TDP to 20W it pulls 33W in the overlay. If I lower the TDP to 10W it gets laggy but still pulls about 18W. I know the system pulls a bit more TDP than what I set it to but it jumping between 32 and 38W when I set it to 20W seems excessive no? Please help, my battery needs it.
