Facebook does not allow me to pause and mute video reels as I doom scroll comments.

Original Title: Pausing & Muting Reels

Has anyone else noticed this before?

Sometimes, when I want to read comments on Facebook reels, & the voice or a sound from it is annoying/distracting I want to pause it so I can focus on the comment section. *Especially*, when there's a bit of drama there lol.

But for some reason, Facebook doesn't allow me to do that nor muting the reel. As soon as I press the comment section, the video starts playing again, or, after the reel ends, it un-mutes itself & I then have to mute my phone just so I can properly mute the video & can pay attention to the comments I want to read.

Is there anything else similar that you all have noticed that has annoyed you from Facebook or another social media app?

Side note: This question is 4 the moderators on this community. Why, the h*ll, can't I put a short title on my post & instead must type a paragraph, essentially? Make that make sense
