do u think my mom came in my room and turned off my fan?

i own this fan, Midea Bladeless Fan with Air Purifier (model series MAM060).

i hung my clothes in my bedroom round 11am this morning. i went out around 1130am and just got back at 10pm.

my fan was on from about 9am and i’m not sure when it turned off.

usually when i leave my fan on in my room (not oscillating), on level 5-6/10 and leave the house, when i come home it’s still on.

today, i left it oscillating from around 11am onwards. coincidentally my mum is home. today.

anyways. i asked my mum and she’s rlly not one to lie to me. especially knowing how i feel about her coming into my room cos of my ocd. when i asked her if she turned off my fan she said no and she didn’t even know it was on. i asked her multiple times. i told her oh i just forgot i’d i left it on or off. she said i better dont forget in the future or it’ll explode/overheat. so now i’m confused.

all my clothes feel pretty dry actually. i’m also not sure what time the fan turned off. i really have no clue and didn’t pay attention when i got home at 10pm. i went to shower and now it’s 11pm. i think the fan was off before i even went to shower and i didn’t notice.

this is the first time it’s ever happened. this fan as far as i know never turns off by itself but maybe it’s cos i dont leeave it oscillating for more than like 1 hour max.

i’ve been literally breaking down crying over this feeling so contaminated and having so many intrusive thoughts. google AI literally told me my mum was lying to me just to not trigger my ocd.
