Thoughts on tax wealth not work?

Tax strategy

I saw someone post about this last year on this subreddit but it seems the movement has gained more momentum. The starting point seems to be a 2% tax on wealth over £10m.

To me, as someone who is asset poor and did not have wealthy parents or is expecting a large inheritance it seems very logical to me and I can't see why anyone would be against it. Failing to do so is just going to kill society and discourage any incentives to work hard.

Curious to know what others think and whether any HENRYs would be opposed to it. If so, why?
