Is a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 with AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 a good deal for full-stack web dev?
Hello, I'm a back-end developer with interest in local AI models.
I'm looking for a laptop that is energy efficient and can run some models under Linux. I already have a gaming laptop but I want to have something just to do my usual web dev work.
I recently saw this ad from a local store (I'm in Latin America) and, even though I'm interested, I haven't seen many reviews for this specific configuration.
I'm mostly interested on taking advantage of the recent CPU, the NPU and the battery life. I really don't care about the touchscreen, but I might play around with it. I could upgrade the RAM at some point but I'm not sure this specific model has upgradable RAM (I wrote to the store for more info already)
Is this a good deal? I could import it from the US but prices I've seen online aren't very far from this.
