I feel like I'm trying everything, but life keeps pushing me back. What would you do?
I'm a 23-year-old from Tamil Nadu, India. I recently completed my MCA and have been trying hard to build a stable career. I've attended interviews, learned new skills, and kept applying for jobs. I recently got selected for an international non-voice support role, and while I'm grateful, I still worry about my long-term career growth.
My family has been through financial struggles, and I've always wanted to become the person who changes our situation. Being the first graduate in my family comes with a lot of expectations, and sometimes the pressure feels overwhelming.
Over the past year, I've also dealt with legal and family-related issues that took a toll on my mental health. There were days when I had to visit government offices, submit petitions, and keep fighting for things that shouldn't have been this difficult. At the same time, I was trying to find a job and stay positive.
Sometimes I feel like everyone around me is moving ahead while I'm constantly starting over. I try to stay strong, but there are days when I question whether I'm making the right decisions.
For people who have gone through something similar:
* How did you keep going when life felt unfair?
* Is starting in customer support a good step toward a better IT career?
* How do you stop comparing yourself to others and focus on your own path?
I'm not looking for sympathy—just honest advice from people who have been through difficult phases and eventually turned things around.
Thank you for reading.
