Does the games made by Nintendo first party studios and second party studios (if that make sense) are translated to european languages (spanish, german, italian, french) using american english as the base for it or just translating straight from japanese?

yes community, im asking that question because i was reading a manga with fan translation in my mother tongue and i had notice it was translated from english, so you could imagine how terrible that translation was. since then im trying to be aware of the quality of translations, prioritizing the ones translated straight from the source language, it may be japanese, english, french etc but dismissing the one that use a translation from a language to translate to others.

Source language (japanese in the case of mayority nintendo games) ---------> spanish (my mother tongue) = good

source language -------> english --------> spanish = trash

(i think this is tech support but dont know)
