Facebook's newsfeed algorithm showing me posts people i don't know, and live nowhere close to, sometimes talking about thing's I don't care about.

Fairly Annoyed

I like dogs, volunteer at the shelter sometimes, any time I see a missing dog/cat posted in the area, I'll keep my eye open for it (and so does my dog if it gets in the yard haha), I'm pretty active on the shelter social media too.

Now on my newsfeed I'll see a post about a missing pet. In the pictures of the pet, the background looks nothing like what it would look like around here. I go check the posters profile and it's a good 500 or more miles away.

I also get people's drama all up in my feed. I have a habit of looking at the post before the posters name. So I'll see a caption "Omg i can't believe they did this!" And pictures of screenshots. Look at the posters name. Not on my friends list, not even close to where I live.

I know everyone is tired of Facebook, but goddamn if you're going to show me random shit, at least have it be local.
