hiring question!

hi sorry if this isn't allowed or what not but I applied to be a package handler and everything went smoothly, got the call for the job offer and to schedule orientation. however, he wanted to schedule for the following week but I need to give my job a two week notice. he told me they don't schedule them that far ahead because of waiting for an orientation spot to open? and said he'll call closer to the date that is the two week notice. but I don't have the job offer email or anything so I'm apprehensive to put in my two week notice. should I just wait or is there a number to call? I've looked all over online!
