Sorry I called in sick ONE TIME

I have not called in sick since like January. I never call in sick!! I never take days off. I used half my PTO when they were traveling so it didn’t inconvenience them. I work weekends often (normal schedule is Mon-Fri) and have only said I couldn’t once. Today I call in sick. Mind you I worked yesterday (Sunday). Tbh I just need a freaking day today. And ofc MB makes me feel so guilty.

Yes my text was last minute (morning of) but why did she have to mention she has an appointment that she’s “going to get charged for”. Like okay do you not want to pay me my sick day?? Was I supposed to let you know I was sick 48hrs ago so you could reschedule your appointment??

Also worth mentioning the dad is home. The housekeeper is there (who watches the baby sometimes). And hello?? Take the baby to the appointment?? Like she just HAD to make me feel guilty for what reason?? I am nothing but good to them and UNDERPAID.
