Low-priority additions that I would like to see:
Faction Radio:
Listening to the voice lines at the main spawn gave me this idea:
A big plus for GZW compared to Tarkov is the social aspect- the world is constant with players moving through. It feels more alive. But sometimes feels painfully empty if you are operating away from everyone. Expanding on that, I think it would be cool if players could utilize a faction radio (like faction chat)
This would have an option to disable completely.
Implemented either A: Like SQUAD, where you press a key to change channel, and now you are voice talking to the faction.
B (My preferred): You open a drop-down menu of options (like the emote selection) to include things like:
- Request Assistance
- Enemies spotted (i often go into faction chat, and type out when i see hostiles but im not engaging - its kinda a pain to do quickly)
- etc
This que's the radio announcer to say something like "Friendlies in Midnight Saphire are requesting assistance"
"Enemy forces spotted near Blue Lagoon"
The radio announcer could be made to be more specific, but it's to primarily just give situational awareness clues.
Combat Taunts:
I loved Taunts in Tarkov. Technically you can do it in VOIP, but taunting in VOIP tends to come off toxic, taunting with in-game taunts is world/immersion building.
Tarkov voice lines crack me up
(Man these bring back some love-hate memories)
In combat, there tends to be a LOT of shit-talking.
This would all contribute to making the world and engagements feel alive.
