Conversations with real connection feel different
When you enter into a conversation with someone where you genuinely feel heard, you begin to experience that the connection starts to develop into something meaningful. This connection grows, because there is a mutual sense of trust, understanding between two people.
Conversations come in many different forms, but what makes a conversation truly feel comfortable, meaningful and safe? It is the feeling of being respected, understood and valued. It happens when someone genuinely listens, respond with genuine attention, ask meaningful questions and shows interest in what you have to share. The depth in a conversation is not only defined by words, but by the way someone responds and engages with you. The way a person communicates can strengthen or weaken the communication between them. A conversation in which two people create a deeper sense of connection is one of the most beautiful and profound human experiences we can achieve.
Communication is not simply the exchange of information it is the ability to transfer a message in a way that allows another person to truly understand, experience and feel the meaning behind your words.
The question is; what makes you trust someone within the first few minutes of the conversation? What is it that you sense?
