Prashant Kishor – The Man Who Stands His Ground 🗿

People are already spinning PK's Bankipur bypoll victory as, "He only won because the BJP candidate was weak" or "Low turnout handed him the seat." That feels like an oversimplification.

Whatever your politics, it's worth appreciating the kind of campaign Prashant Kishor fought.

This wasn't a walkover. Jan Suraaj went up against the full weight of the ruling alliance in what had long been considered a BJP stronghold.

From reports during the campaign, they were up against:

\- Senior NDA leadership camping in Patna.

\- A large team of star campaigners like pawan singh, manoj tiwari ravi kishan, maithli thakur and many more

\- Support from the entire NDA alliance

\- Ministers and MLAs campaigning on the ground.

\- Massive campaign spending and mobilization.

\- Arrests of Jan Suraaj workers before polling.

\- PK reportedly spending the night before voting at the police station trying to secure the release of his workers instead of focusing on booth management.

\- Allegations of intimidation, heavy deployment at sensitive booths, and clashes involving Jan Suraaj workers.

Yet despite all of that, he won in Bankipur—a seat that had been considered one of the BJP's safest constituencies from 1995.

# Whether you're a supporter or a critic, one thing is hard to deny:

# PK stood his ground. He didn't disappear when things got difficult. He stayed in the fight and led from the front.

Does this mean Jan Suraaj is the future of Bihar politics? It's too early to say. One bypoll doesn't decide a state's political future.

But dismissing this victory as "just a weak candidate" ignores the scale of the contest. Breaking a decades-old stronghold isn't something that happens by accident.

Whatever happens next, this win has ensured that Prashant Kishor can no longer be dismissed as just a political strategist. He's now proven he can win an election himself.

Sangharsh matters. And sometimes, simply standing your ground is the biggest statement of all.
