MIE-005 «Cursed house»
Containment Procedures
The perimeter of MIE-005 does not require security; two Foundation agents are to be stationed in the house to distract the local population, simulating everyday life. In the event of an 005-Engelbart event, four additional emergency medical technicians, one psychological service officer, and members of MTF Graviya-184 "Cutters" are called in.
Description
MIE-005 is a two-story residential building located at [REDACTED], Japan. It exhibits no anomalous properties. A Foundation employee previously lived there before the 005-Engelbart event, which prompted the building to be contained.
During the second 005-Engelbart event, a full sequence of events was compiled and a containment plan was developed. Unfortunately, the event was not prevented either the first or second time. According to camera surveillance, Event 005-Engelbart is as follows:
A [REDACTED]-year-old girl, identified as MIE-005-1, enters a house, goes through her daily routine (getting ready for work/school), and goes to bed.
-
At 5:35 AM the next day, MIE-005-1 awakens. Tears are visible on her face, she gets up, and takes a rope from a closet drawer.
-
MIE-005-1 ties a knot and then begins writing what appears to be a suicide note. Its contents are listed in Appendix 005-632.
-
MIE-005-1, having attached the rope to a ceiling fixture, commits suicide by hanging. Death by asphyxiation occurs after [REDACTED] seconds, with MIE-005-1 desperately attempting to remove the rope from its neck in its final seconds.
-
The wall changes color to something resembling the ████████ ██████ █████ error screen.

[DATA_REDACTED]
Event 005-Engelbart is suspected to be related to Incident #001-1, but no direct signs of influence from MIE-001 have been observed.
