TDFF - Delayed coverage?

So, why does the peacock coverage not start with the race? it seems like we are at least an hour and a half late? The coverage started at around 88km to go of the 156 total km, it seems. I checked around 715CDT this morning and Peacock said coverage didn't start until 8:45am.

Anyone know what gives? Do I need to be looking for something special to actually see the whole race?
