can my guineapigs and rabbits be in the same room?

i've been wondering this for a while, and i know rabbits carry bordetella. so if my guinea pigs are in their enclosure and the rabbits in theres and they don't interact or share resources or anything, can they be in the same large room in my house? or would they still spread an illness to each other
