Baby proofing Outlets

Hello, I’m new to this community, I’m 20 and I have a question for other parents.

How did you baby proof your outlets? and did your child also try to pull the outlet covers out constantly??

My daughter who had just turned 1, is a very smart and curious girl. She crawls faster than I can blink, and is always getting into things my grandparents have out. (I live with my grandparents and parents.)

One of the things she’s been doing, is pulling out the little clear plastic outlet covers we have in the wall.. and then proceeds to try to stick her fingers into the outlet.. she knows she’s not supposed to do it, which makes her do it more. she will have a smirk on her face and crawl at the speed of light to this certain outlet..

so I need some suggestions of what I should do.. my mom told me last night, that me and my brother never messed with outlets so they never had to worry about it. So it’s kind of a learning process for all of us 😭 please help 🙏🏻
