Dog food is going to run out...
I swear, this has been the week of negligent (new) clients. I've got two different situations going on this week, and both have me scratching my head.
The most recent is client 2's dogs are almost out of food. I saw another dog food bag, grabbed it, and....it's empty. I didn't see any other bags, so when I texted the client for my daily check-in, I asked if they had more food somewhere. They responded to say the food order was coming next week. I told them the food would run out by then and could they request it early. Crickets.
How can people go away and not leave enough food for their animals? This isn't the first time it's happened, but these dogs are on a prescription food, so I can't just go to the store and buy more. I specifically asked during our meet and greet that they have enough food and treats for the week. They said they would keep extras on hand. Clearly, they didn't. Do people just not care about their pets? :/
