What is the lore around why this game is bad?

I need to be caught up on why this game is bad and it even has a sub for hating it.

I watched a bunch of videos on it and i think its fine honestly. Im a huge FPS sweat and can tell if a game is total shit or not - and marathon is nowhere near the total shit segment.

The only thing I can guess is it ended up in the middle of the spectrum

Tarkov - hardcore as fuck - everyone knows its hardcore going in. Nobody bitches the game is too hard.

Arc Raiders - casual as fuck. If you get your ass kicked in PvP too much it puts you in PvE only lobbies after a while ( or if you never shoot anyoje you go in PvE only too , behavior based matchmaking ).

Marathon - in the middle , not full on casual slop but not 300 hours just to know 1% of wtf is going on Tarkov shit either.

Im probably going to give it a go in s3 late September if its still around then lol - im busy grinding my main game atm and dont have time to learn a new one
